I register for a few webinars that are not in Australian time zones. The reason being I might not attend but I’d still like to hear about the topic and registering can offer you a link to a recording.
Over the last few years the KM Global Network (KMGN) has been running annual courses to help KM practitioners learn and update their skills and understanding, as well as connect with a global KM network – awesome!
The only challenge is timezones – its predominantly EU based so 11pm and midnight starts. Thankfully they record the sessions as well utilise loads of tools to ensure participants get the best out of the schedule.
The focus in previous years has been:
- 2022 – Advanced Methodologies
- 2023 – The New Collaboration
- 2024 – Leveraging the Value Creation of Tacit Knowledge
This year the overarching topic is Knowledge Creation and Innovation. Week 1 was last week so there is definitely still time to join if you are looking at understanding KM and its impact on organisations as well all the tools and skills you might need as a KM practitioner.

I will try and capture my thoughts and triggers after each weeks session.
